About this Blog

Everyone loves a great customer service experience, right? And what do you do when you have one? You tell all your friends. Nowadays, there’s Twitter and Facebook and YouTube, just to name a few. What business wouldn’t love all that free advertising? What if it wasn’t such a great customer service experience? You tell not just your friends, but everyone who will listen. And sometimes it seems that businesses don’t always care what we have to say.

That’s what this blog is about. The point is to share all those customer service experiences – good and bad – with the hopes that businesses will realize the value of providing great customer service.

About the Authors

Photo on 2009-09-08 at 20.18 #3Sara Onstine has worked in the service industry for more than a decade, mostly in various restaurants. In that time, she’s learned what it means to give (and receive!) great customer service – she’s passionate about customer service! She is happily married and has three kids cats (who often act as though they’re children).

WarnerWarner Onstine loves great customer service when he gets it and hates it when he doesn’t. Having worked in a few restaurants and call centers early in his life, like Sara, he too can appreciate customer service from both the customer and from the service side. Warner started his career in the tech industry doing technical support for Intuit for QuickBooks software. While there, he learned how to develop web applications and left to peruse a career as a software engineer. Since then, he’s worked at a variety of places including Interface Guru, Intalio, the University of Arizona and now VMS.
